For first-time founders

Launch your first olive oil brand.

You have the idea, the market and the will. What you do not have is a producer, a specification, a cost base or a compliant label — and no reason yet to know how any of them work.

Where first projects go wrong

The mistakes are always made before production, and paid for after.

A first olive oil brand almost never fails on ambition. It fails on decisions taken early, cheaply and irreversibly — a bottle chosen from a photo, a volume accepted because it was offered, a label printed before anyone checked the destination market.

Supplier
The first producer who answers is rarely the right one
Mills, bottlers, cooperatives and traders do different jobs. Approaching the wrong type costs a season, and you only find out after the samples arrive.
Volume
A minimum order you cannot sell
Accepting the volume a producer prefers, rather than the one your first season can absorb, is the fastest way to convert a launch budget into stock.
Cost
Discovering the real cost after committing
Oil, bottle, closure, label, carton, freight, analyses. Each one is quoted separately, and the total only becomes visible when it is too late to change the format.
Label
Reprinting after bottling
Mandatory mentions differ by destination market. A label validated at design stage costs nothing; a label corrected after a production run costs the run.

What changes with a partner

You make the decisions. We prepare them.

You do not need to become an olive oil specialist to launch a credible brand. You need the right questions asked in the right order, and someone accountable between you and the producers.

What we take off your hands

  • Producer selection — matched to your volume, not the other way round
  • Oil specification — variety, intensity, harvest, certification
  • Sample coordination — you taste before anything is produced
  • Packaging direction — bottle, label, closure and carton
  • Label compliance — checked for your destination market
  • Cost roadmap — the full picture before you commit

What you keep

  • The brand — we never put ours on your product
  • The supplier relationships — introduced, not intermediated
  • The specification — yours to reuse at your second run
  • The decisions — we prepare them, you take them
  • The independence — nothing in the process ties you to us

Questions

Before you get in touch.

I have never launched a food product. Is that a problem?

It is the most common starting point among our clients, and it is why the work is structured as a sequence of decisions rather than a technical brief. You will understand every choice you make; you will not have to learn the industry to make it.

How much do I need to start?

Less than most people assume, and it depends far more on format than on ambition. Some formats start at a single pallet. What we can tell you early is the full cost picture — oil, packaging, freight, analyses — so the number you plan against is the real one.

Where do I start if I am still exploring?

With the reading, not with us. Our guide on how to start an olive oil business covers the ground for free, and what a kilo actually costs to produce will tell you whether your price point holds. Come to us when the questions get specific.

What if my idea does not stand up?

Then the useful outcome is finding out before production, not after. A costed roadmap that shows the numbers do not work is worth more than a first run that proves it expensively. We would rather tell you early.
